The Greater Miami Symphonic Band began in 1979. Since the first rehearsal with forty-five musicians of diverse backgrounds and musical abilities, the Band has grown to a present membership of approximately eighty-five. The Greater Miami Symphonic Band is a community concert band comprised of volunteer musicians with diverse professional backgrounds and musical abilities.

Soccer Locker of Miami was established in 1981. The store started in a retail strip center occupying six hundred square feet. It soon grew to expand to twelve hundred square feet as the popularity of soccer in the area increased. In 1994, with the excitement of the World Cup, the store relocated to its present location.
