Since the first rehearsal with forty-five musicians of diverse backgrounds and musical abilities, the Band has grown to a present membership of approximately eighty-five. The Greater Miami Symphonic Band is a community concert band comprised of volunteer musicians with diverse professional backgrounds and musical abilities.
